My Nsfas Profile 2023-2024
My Nsfas Profile 2023-2024: Students who are receiving financial aid through the National Student Financial Aid Scheme must create a My Nsfas profile to be able to access and manage their MyNSFAS accounts by signing in. Are you having problems with your NSFAS User profile? Are you trying to log into your MyNSFAS account and keep getting the notification that your NSFAS profile does not exist? If you are unable to log into your MyNSFAS account because it says your MyNSFAS profile does not exist, it means the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) is saying you should re-register your NSFAS account. Once you’ve re-registered your MyNSFAS, you’ll be able to log into your NSFAS Account. Follow the steps to re-register your account.
How To Create Mynsfas Profile
Register online as a user on myNSFAS or re-register a myNSFAS account
- Go to www.nsfas.org.za
- Click on the “myNSFAS” tab
- Click on “Register“
- Tick the box to allow NSFAS to verify your details
- Then enter your ID number on the field as it is stated on your South African Identity Document (ID)
- Type in your full name and surname as per your ID number
- Type in your current email address
- Confirm your email address
- Type in your cellphone number
- Create a password
- Confirm password
- Upload your ID Copy
- Click on register
- An OTP will be sent to the email and cell number provided (this OTP expires after 24 hours)
- Type in the OTP and click submit
- You have now completed your re-registration
Why Is My NSFAS User Profile Locked?
Your NSFAS User Profile is locked because you entered the wrong username or password three times. When you type in the wrong password or username three (3) consecutive times because you want to log into your NSFAS User Profile account and access the information in it, your account will be blocked.
What Happens When Your NSFAS User Profile Is Locked?
You cannot log into your NSFAS account when your profile is locked. To be able to log into your account and access the information in it, you will need to reset your NSFAS password.
How To Reset Your Password
If you want to reset your myNSFAS portal password, here is what you should do.
Go to www.nsfas.org.za
- Click myNSFAS account
- Click ‘forgot password
- Type in your ID number
- Choose one of the following options:
- I can’t remember my username
- I can’t remember my password
- I can’t remember my username and password
- Choose the relevant option
- Click ‘submit’
- A One Time Pin (OTP) will be sent to you via SMS and email to the cellphone number and email you provided
- Check your cellphone or email for the OTP. This OTP is only valid for 24 hours
- Type the OTP number in the provided block
- Click ‘submit’
- A link to reset your login details will be sent to you via email and SMS
- Click on the link that was received through SMS or email
- Follow the reset process
- Create a new password by following the instruction on the screen
- Click ‘submit’
How To Login To Nsfas Account
You will need your MyNSFAS Email and password to check your status online. Now with your internet-connected smartphone or computer, Open your web browser.
- Step 1: Visit the MyNSFAS student portal via-www nsfas.org.za
- Step 2: Next, Enter your Email and Password in the field provided.
- Step 3: Finally, click on the Sign-In button to access your application status
