Nsfas Meaning 2023-2024
Nsfas Meaning 2023-2024: The National Student Financial Aid Scheme is a South African government student financial aid scheme that provides financial aid to undergraduate students to help pay for the cost of their tertiary education after finishing high school. It is funded by the Department of Higher Education and Training. The scheme was established in terms of the National Student Financial Aid Scheme Act 56 of 1999. We provide financial assistance in the form of bursaries and loans to eligible students at public universities and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Colleges in South Africa.
Online Application Date For Nsfas Funding
The application doors for Nsfas will be opened for the year 2024 to all applicants from the 7th of November 2023 and closes on the 21st of January 2024. Applicants are therefore urged to apply within the application deadline.
What Does The Bursary Cover?
Amounts indicated for accommodation, living allowance, transport, and learning materials need to be aligned with the approved latest DHET guidelines.
