Mynsfas Account Has Been Locked 2023-2024: Is your NSFAS account locked and do you want to unlock it? This is one of the many frustrating problems that students who have created a MyNSFAS Account profile usually face. They get their profile accounts locked frequently. In this article, we’re going to show you how to unlock your NSFAS user profile, how to reset your NSFAS user profile, and how to keep your NSFAS profile account safe.

Why Is My NSFAS Account Locked?

Your NSFAS account is locked because you entered the wrong username or password three times. When you type in the wrong password or username three (3) consecutive times because you want to log into your NSFAS User Profile account and access the information in it, your account will be blocked.

What Happens When Your NSFAS Account Is Locked?

You cannot log into your NSFAS account when your profile is locked. To be able to log into your account and access the information in it, you will need to reset your NSFAS password.

How To Unlock NSFAS Account

  • Go to www.nsfas.org.za
  • Login to your MyNSFAS Account
  • Click on “Forgot Your Password”
  • Enter Your ID Number
  • You’ll receive an OTP by email and SMS
  • Type the OTP you receive in the space
  • Click Submit
  • Enter the new password you want to create

After you complete these steps, you’ll receive your new password via your cell phone number in the NSFAS system. Try to save your new NSFAS password so that, you dont lose or forget it again.

Mynsfas Reset Password 2023-2024: Do you keep getting an error notice claiming your account has been locked when you try to access your allowances? This notification will appear if you have entered the wrong password for your NSFAS Wallet more than three times. Simply taking this step will stop fraudsters from accessing your allowances.  Changing or resetting your MyNsfas portal password is very easy as long as you have your ID number and the mobile phone you are registered with. You’ll receive a new password after completing the procedures listed below.

How To Reset Mynsfas Password

If you want to reset your myNSFAS portal password, here is what you should do.

Go to www.nsfas.org.za

  • Click myNSFAS account
  • Click ‘forgot password
  • Type in your ID number
  • Choose one of the following options:
    • I can’t remember my username
    • I can’t remember my password
    • I can’t remember my username and password
  • Choose the relevant option
  • Click ‘submit’
  • A One Time Pin (OTP) will be sent to you via SMS and email to the cellphone number and email you provided
  • Check your cellphone or email for the OTP. This OTP is only valid for 24 hours
  • Type the OTP number in the provided block
  • Click ‘submit’
  • A link to reset your login details will be sent to you via email and SMS
  • Click on the link that was received through SMS or email
  • Follow the reset process
  • Create a new password by following the instruction on the screen
  • Click ‘submit’

How Do I Update My Account Details With NSFAS?

How to make changes to your National Student Financial Aid Scheme account:

  • Please visit nsfas.org.za and log in.
  • Please enter your username and password (under the ‘already registered’ option) to continue.
  • Click the ‘sign in’ button.
  • Please go to ‘My Personal Details’ and change the inaccurate cell phone number with the right one (the same can be done with other incorrect information)

How To Create A Nsfas Account

  1. Go to https://www.nsfas.org.za and look for the tab MYNSFAS and click.
  2. Create an account called MyNsfas
  3. Click on the apply tab
  4. Upload all the needed documents
