Nsfas Application For Tvet Colleges 2023-2024: Through the NSFAS program, government assistance is made available to students attending public colleges. NSFAS strives to provide financial aid for people who want to but are unable to complete their education. Funding for TVET colleges comes from the NSFAS bursary program. How To Fill NSFAS Online Application Form

  1. Go to www.nsfas.org.za
  2. Create a MyNSFAS Account
  3. Login into your Account
  4. Click on the Apply
  5. Complete the forms by filling in all the sections
  6. Click submit to send your application for review and possible approval

Remember not to skip a section when filling out your NSFAS online application forms if you want your application to be approved for funding.

Required Documents For Filling NSFAS Online Application

Before you can fill out your NSFAS application form online, you’ll need the documents below.

    1. A cell phone number
    2. An email address
    3. Certified copies of your Identification Documents (ID)
    4. You should have applied for a public institution and waiting for admission acceptance
    5. Certified or official copy of recent payslip, employment letter, not older than three months
    6. Prove household income (this includes SASSA grants, Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF), or retirement, disability, or other financial benefits you get.)
    7. Copy of parents/guardian/spouse/ Identification documents (if applicable)
    8. If you’re disability, you’ll complete a disability Annexure A and B and submit them

NSFAS is here to help all students including all the 50 Tvet colleges and 25 public universities in South Africa to pay for the cost of their tertiary education after completing high school. NSFAS application cycle will last four months, from 3 August through 30 November 2023. There will be no acceptance of late applications. In order for your application to be processed, please ensure that you meet the application requirements and apply on time. Kindly follow the steps below.

Who qualifies for NSFAS Tvet?

  • All South African citizens
  • All SASSA grant recipients qualify for funding
  • Applicants whose combined household income is not more than R350 000 per annum
  • A person with a disability: Combined household income must not be more than R600 000 per annum
  • Students who started studying before 2018 and whose household income is not more than R122 000 per annum.

REQUIRED SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS DURING THE APPLICATION PROCESS

  1. Provide your own cellphone number and email address
  2. You must have a copy of your ID or birth certificate
  3. National ID copies of parents, guardians, or spouse
  4. The evidence of your income or 1 year’s IRP5 if necessary
  5. The proof of income of your parents, guardian, or spouse.
  6. If you are a SASSA grant recipient, you don’t need to provide any evidence of income.
  7. All Applicants with a disability should provide and submit a completed and signed Disability Annexure A Form
  8. An applicant who is known as a Vulnerable Child by the Department of Social Development should also provide a completed and signed Vulnerable Child Declaration and Consent Form.

Does Nsfas Fund Tvet Colleges 2023-2024: Are you a TVET college student interested in applying for NSFAS but unsure if the program will support you? NSFAS online application for the 2024-2025 academic year will run for four months starting from, 3 August until the closing date of 30 November. The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) will require more information from you in order to process your application, so you need to provide the following supporting documents to make sure that your application is successful.

  3. National ID copies of parents, guardians, or spouse
  4. The evidence of your income or 1 year’s IRP5 if necessary
