Mynsfas E Wallet Is Locked 2023-2024: Is your Nsfas E Wallet locked. This is why. You are receiving this message if you have typed in your NSFAS Wallet password incorrectly more than three times. This is just a security measure to prevent fraudsters from accessing your allowances. Please ensure that you memorise and safeguard your NSFAS Wallet password. If your NSFAS Wallet is locked, no worries. Here’s why and how to unlock it.

How To Unlock Your NSFAS Wallet By Cell Phone

1. Dial *120*176#
2. Chose “Unlock with OTP”
3. You’ll receive a One Time Pin (OTP) through SMS on your phone
4. Enter the OTP number given to you
5. You’ll receive a notification stating that your wallet is unlocked.

You have successfully unlocked your NSFAS wallet through your cell phone.

NOTE: You will need to have a MyNSFAS Account along with an NSFAS wallet before you can go through the process to unlock your NSFAS wallet.

How to unlock NSFAS Wallet Through Email:

Send an email to unlock@nsfas.org.za. Provide the following information in your email:

• Your ID Number and ID copy
• Your full name and surname
• Your cellphone number and email address
• Your physical and or postal address
• Description of your query

In this article, we’re going to show you how to unlock your NSFAS user profile, how to reset your NSFAS user profile, and how to keep your NSFAS profile account safe.

Why Is My NSFAS Account Locked?

Your NSFAS account is locked because you entered the wrong username or password three times. When you type in the wrong password or username three (3) consecutive times because you want to log into your NSFAS User Profile account and access the information in it, your account will be blocked.

What Happens When Your NSFAS Account Is Locked?

You cannot log into your NSFAS account when your profile is locked. To be able to log into your account and access the information in it, you will need to reset your NSFAS password.

How To Unlock NSFAS Account

After you complete these steps, you’ll receive your new password via your cell phone number in the NSFAS system. Try to save your new NSFAS password so that, you dont lose or forget it again.
