What Documents Are Needed For Nsfas Application 2023-2024: To prevent your application rejected by the NSFAS board, applicants should ensure that they meet the following entrance requirements before submitting their NSFAS application. There is a list of required documents for the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS). It should be noted that applicants are not eligible for the National Student Financial Aid Scheme(NSFAS).  unless they meet the following documents

 

 

REQUIRED SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS DURING THE APPLICATION PROCESS

1. Provide your own cellphone number and email address
2. You must have a copy of your ID or birth certificate
3. National ID copies of parents, guardians, or spouse
4. The evidence of your income or 1 year’s IRP5 if necessary
5. The proof of income of your parents, guardian, or spouse.
6. If you are a SASSA grant recipient, you don’t need to provide any evidence of income.
7. All Applicants with a disability should provide and submit a completed and signed Disability Annexure A Form
8. An applicant known as a Vulnerable Child by the Department of Social Development should also provide a completed and signed Vulnerable Child Declaration and Consent Form.

 

How to Apply for NSFAS Bursary Online Application

1. Visit the NSFAS Application website: www.nsfas.org.za
2. Then, you click on the ‘myNSFAS’ tab
3. Create a myNSFAS account. If you don’t know how to create, click HERE
4. Click on the ‘APPLY’ tab
5. Update your personal information
6. Answer the questions you see on the screen
7. Upload all the required supporting documents
8. Finally, you click on ‘submit
