Does Ewc Offer Nsfas 2023-2024: NSFAS offers financial aid in the form of a study bursary to eligible students who wish to attend TVET colleges and public universities or are currently enrolled there. If you are interested in attending Ekurhuleni West TVET College or are already enrolled there and your family’s annual income is R350 000 or less, you may be eligible.Ekurhuleni West TVET College has made it possible for its students to apply for Nsfas bursaries to support them in their education journey. The Nsfas application for the Ekurhuleni West College 2023-2024 academic year will start on September 28th, 2023. Any South African student who has attended Ekurhuleni West TVET College is eligible to apply for the funding. Kindly follow the simple steps below

 

REQUIRED SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS DURING THE APPLICATION PROCESS

  1. Provide your own cellphone number and email address
  2. You must have a copy of your ID or birth certificate
  3. National ID copies of parents, guardians, or spouse
  4. The evidence of your income or 1 year’s IRP5 if necessary
  5. The proof of income of your parents, guardian, or spouse.
  6. If you are a SASSA grant recipient, you don’t need to provide any evidence of income.
  7. All Applicants with a disability should provide and submit a completed and signed Disability Annexure A Form
  8. An applicant known as a Vulnerable Child by the Department of Social Development should also provide a completed and signed Vulnerable Child Declaration and Consent Form.

 

How to Apply for Ewc NSFAS Online Application

  1. Visit the NSFAS Application website: www.nsfas.org.za
  2. Then, you click on the ‘myNSFAS’ tab
  3. Create a myNSFAS account. If you don’t know how to create, click HERE
  4. Click on the ‘APPLY’ tab
  5. Update your personal information
  6. Answer the questions you see on the screen
  7. Upload all the required supporting documents
  8. Finally, you click on ‘submit

 

Who qualifies for Ewc NSFAS funding?

  • All South African citizens
  • All SASSA grant recipients qualify for funding
  • Applicants whose combined household income is not more than R350 000 per annum
  • A person with a disability: Combined household income must not be more than R600 000 per annum
  • Students who started studying before 2018 and whose household income is not more than R122 000 per annum.
