How To Upload Documents To NSFAS

Follow the below step-by-step guide to upload your documents to NSFAS.

  1. Go to www.nsfas.org.za
  2. Log into your MyNSFAS Account
  3. Click on “Upload Outstanding Supporting Documents”
  4. A window will appear on your computer screen (Select the documents files)
  5. Click on “Submit Documents”
  6. You’ll receive a notification that reads “Outstanding Documents have been Successfully Uploaded”

REQUIRED SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS DURING THE APPLICATION PROCESS

  1. Provide your own cellphone number and email address
  2. You must have a copy of your ID or birth certificate
  3. National ID copies of parents, guardians, or spouse
  4. The evidence of your income or 1 year’s IRP5 if necessary
  5. The proof of income of your parents, guardian, or spouse.
  6. If you are a SASSA grant recipient, you don’t need to provide any evidence of income.
  7. All Applicants with a disability should provide and submit a completed and signed Disability Annexure A Form
  8. An applicant known as a Vulnerable Child by the Department of Social Development should also provide a completed and signed Vulnerable Child Declaration and Consent Form.

How to Apply for NSFAS Application

  1. Visit the NSFAS Application website: www.nsfas.org.za
  2. Then, you click on the ‘myNSFAS’ tab
  3. Create a myNSFAS account. If you don’t know how to create, click HERE
  4. Click on the ‘APPLY’ tab
  5. Update your personal information
  6. Answer the questions you see on the screen
  7. Upload all the required supporting documents
  8. Finally, you click on ‘submit
