Nsfas Online Application Second Semester 2023-2024: The NSFAS application period is now open for TVET colleges offering semester and trimester courses. The application will go open on November 2, 2023, and it will close on January 21, 2024. Students who wish to apply themselves must do so online at www.nsfas.org.za. You must create or sign into a MyNsfas account in order to apply. Before applying, applicants must confirm that they meet the NSFAS application requirements. Please read this page to learn about the required documents, then follow the steps to submit your application on time and prevent having it rejected.
Required Supporting Documents Needed To Apply NSFAS Online Application Second Semester.
To complete your NSFAS Bursary Online Application for 2023-2024, you must have the following information:
- You must have a phone number and an email address of your own.
- A copy of your ID or birth certificate is required.
- You should also provide copies of your parents’, guardians’, or spouse’s identification cards.
- 1 year’s worth of IRP5 or proof of income (if applicable,)
- Proof of income from your parents, guardians, or spouse
- SASSA grant beneficiaries are not required to show proof of income.
- All disabled applicants must present a completed and signed Disability Annexure. A Document

How to Apply for Nsfas Online Application Second Semester 2023-2024
- Visit the NSFAS Application website: www.nsfas.org.za
- Then, you click on the ‘myNSFAS’ tab
- Create a myNSFAS account. If you don’t know how to create, click HERE
- Click on the ‘APPLY’ tab
- Update your personal information
- Answer the questions you see on the screen
- Upload all the required supporting documents
- Finally, you click on ‘submit
How to view/check my nsfas online application status
To check your NSFAS application status:
- Log into your myNSFAS account portal.
- Enter your ID or username and password.
- Click the SIGN IN! button.
- Once you log into your account dashboard, click on Track Funding Progress to check your application status.
- If your application has been successful, Congrats! If not, better luck next time.
