To apply for the SASSA R350 SRD grant online, follow these steps:
Visit the SASSA website: Go to the SASSA website at https://srd.sassa.gov.za and click on the “Apply Now” button.
Create an account: You will need to create an account by providing your email address and creating a password. You will also need to provide your personal details, including your ID number and cellphone number.
Verify your cellphone number: SASSA will send a One-Time Pin (OTP) to your cellphone number. You will need to enter this OTP on the website to verify your cellphone number.
Complete the application form: Once you have verified your cellphone number, you will be directed to the online application form. You will need to provide your personal details, including your ID number, address, and employment status. You will also need to provide information about your household income and expenses.
Submit your application: Once you have completed the application form, click on the “Submit” button. You will receive a reference number that you can use to track the status of your application.
It’s important to note that not all applicants will be approved for the SASSA R350 SRD grant, and the approval process can take several weeks. If you are approved, the grant will be paid out on a monthly basis for the duration of the pandemic.
