My Nsfas Appeal 2023-2024

My Nsfas Appeal 2023-2024: Both new students and continuing students whose previous NSFAS application was unsuccessful can begin to submit their appeal letters for reviewing and possible approval. But you may be wondering how to appeal for your application. Students whose NSFAS application status shows “Unsuccessful” must send their appeals within 30 days starting from 3 February 2024 and close on 3 March 2024. This article gives you all the information you need to know to appeal for the NSFAS application appeal successfully.

How To Submit Your NSFAS Appeal

1. Log into your “MyNSFAS” account on www.nsfas.org.za​
2. Click the ‘Track Funding Progress’ option
3. Check the application progress tabs
4. If your application status reflects an unsuccessful message, you may submit an appeal by clicking on the ‘Submit Appeal Tab’
5. Once you are on the ‘Application Appeal’ page, you can see the reason for your unsuccessful application status
6. You are then able to choose the appeal reason
7. Then upload certified supporting documents to support your reason
8. Then click ‘Submit Appeal’
9. You may now track the progress of the appeal on your myNSFAS account.

The appeal takes at most 30 days. At times, it might take a shorter time. Nonetheless, NSFAS should not take more than one month to respond to your application.
