Nsfas Application Form Tut 2023-2024

Nsfas Application Form Tut 2023-2024: Tut students can visit www.nsfas.org.za to download the NSFAS Application Form for the 2023–2024 academic year. The forms are available online and can be accessed after creating a MyNsfas Account. Since NSFAS does not accept late applications, students are encouraged to submit their applications as soon as possible. According to NSFAS, applications will be accepted from November 2nd, 2023, and will end on January 7th, 2024. Tut Student Who Can Apply For the NSFAS Application Form?

  • All South African citizens
  • All SASSA grant recipients qualify for funding
  • Applicants whose combined household income is not more than R350 000 per annum
  • A person with a disability: Combined household income must not be more than R600 000 per annum
  • Students who started studying before 2018 and whose household income is not more than R122 000 per annum.

REQUIRED SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS DURING THE APPLICATION PROCESS

  1. Provide your own cellphone number and email address
  2. You must have a copy of your ID or birth certificate
  3. National ID copies of parents, guardians, or spouse
  4. The evidence of your income or 1 year’s IRP5 if necessary
  5. The proof of income of your parents, guardian, or spouse.
  6. If you are a SASSA grant recipient, you don’t need to provide any evidence of income.
  7. All Applicants with a disability should provide and submit a completed and signed Disability Annexure A Form
  8. An applicant known as a Vulnerable Child by the Department of Social Development should also provide a completed and signed Vulnerable Child Declaration and Consent Form.

  2. Then, you click on the ‘myNSFAS’ tab

Tut Nsfas 2023-2024: Are you a TUT student who is unsure if you will receive NSFAS funds? Here is the answer. ​The core business of the NSFAS is to provide financial support to disadvantaged students who wish to further their studies at public universities or TVET colleges. The university’s top aim is to make these scholarships available to deserving students on all of TUT’s campuses. Around 30 000 TUT students are supported by the NSFAS each year through financial help totalling more than R1.4 billion. Therefore all Tut students who wish to apply for the Nsfas should prepare all the relevant documents needed and follow the simple steps below to apply for the NSFAS online.

 

Who Qualifies For The Tut Nsfas?

You qualify for an NSFAS bursary if you are a South African citizen who plans to study in 2023 or you are already studying at a public university or TVET college and you meet the following requirements:

  • SASSA recipients automatically qualify for financial eligibility
  • Your combined household income is not more than R350 000 per year
  • A person with a disability with a combined household income of not more than R600 000 per year
  • Must have email and cell phone number

What Are The Requirements Needed During The Application Process?

  • Books (subject to the number of modules registered)
