Required Documents For Filling NSFAS Online Application

Before you can fill out your NSFAS application form online, you’ll need the documents below.

1. A cell phone number
2. An email address
3. Certified copies of your Identification Documents (ID)
4. You should have applied for a public institution and waiting for admission acceptance
5. Certified or official copy of recent payslip, employment letter, not older than three months
6. Prove household income (this includes SASSA grants, Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF), or retirement, disability, or other financial benefits you get.)
7. Copy of parents/guardian/spouse/ Identification documents (if applicable)
8. If you’re disability, you’ll complete a disability Annexure A and B and submit them

Nsfas Online Application Opening Date 2023-2024: Are you trying to apply for NSFAS funding 2023 and want to know when the NSFAS application will open? Well then, you’re on the right page for the official answers. The NSFAS 2023 application is open for prospective students who are applying for the first time for a study admission space at any of the higher education public universities and TVET Colleges. The NSFAS application will open on 1 September and close on November 30, 2023. Applicants must prepare all the relevant documents needed during the application and apply on time to avoid application rejection by NSFAS authorities.

REQUIRED SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS DURING THE APPLICATION PROCESS

1. Provide your own cellphone number and email address
2. You must have a copy of your ID or birth certificate
3. National ID copies of parents, guardians, or spouse
4. The evidence of your income or 1 year’s IRP5 if necessary
5. The proof of income of your parents, guardian, or spouse.
6. If you are a SASSA grant recipient, you don’t need to provide any evidence of income.
7. All Applicants with a disability should provide and submit a completed and signed Disability Annexure A Form
8. An applicant known as a Vulnerable Child by the Department of Social Development should also provide a completed and signed Vulnerable Child Declaration and Consent Form.
