Mynsfas Portal 2023-2024: It is encouraged that all candidates create a myNsafs account in order to access all Nsfas-related tasks and information since all Nsfas-related tasks must be completed online. In order to access their NSFAS portal, applicants are required by NSFAS to register for a MyNSFAS account. After registering with Nsfas, you’ll have access to your login details, passwords, phone numbers, and other information, enabling applicants to log in using any device, even smartphones. If you’d like to create an NSFAS account so you may access the portal, please follow the instructions below.

How To Create MyNSFAS Student Portal

1. Visit www.nsfas.org.za login.
2. Click the MyNSFAS tab.
3. Click register.
4. Tick the box to allow NSFAS to verify your details.
5. Then capture the ID number as stated on your ID document.
6. Type in your full name and surname as per your ID number.
7. Type in your current email address.
8. Confirm your email address.
9. Type in your cellphone number.
10. Create a password.
11. Confirm password.
12. Upload ID Copy.
13. Click register.
14. You will be sent an OTP to the email and cell number provided (this OTP expires after 24 hours).
15. Type in the OTP and click Submit.
16. You have now completed your NSFAS account re-registration.

How To Login To MyNSFAS Student Portal

You will need your MyNSFAS Email and password to check your status online. Now with your internet-connected smartphone or computer, Open your web browser.

• Step 1: Visit the MyNSFAS student portal via-www nsfas.org.za
• Step 2: Next, Enter your Email and Password in the field provided.
• Step 3: Finally, click on the Sign-In button to access your application status

Mynsfas 2023-2024: MyNsfas account is an online system or portal which is created for all applicants of Nsfas to log in to access and manage all the important information regarding the National student financial aid scheme. Applicants must take note that creating a MyNsfas account does not mean you have applied for the Nsfas funding. After creating an account, you need to log in to your MyNsfas account using your ID number and password. The 2023-2024 Nsfas applications will be opened from the 7th of November 2023 and will close on the 21st of January 2024, therefore all applicants are urged to apply within the application period. Follow the steps below to create a Mynsfas account and apply for funding.

Required Supporting Documents To Create MyNSFAS Account.

•  You must have a phone number and an email address of your own.
• A copy of your ID or birth certificate is required.
•  You should also provide copies of your parents’, guardians’, or spouse’s identification cards.
• 1 year’s worth of IRP5 or proof of income (if applicable,)
• Proof of income from your parents, guardians, or spouse
•  SASSA grant beneficiaries are not required to show proof of income.
•  All disabled applicants must present a completed and signed Disability Annexure. A Document
•  All applicants who have been identified by the Department of Social Development as Vulnerable Children must also submit a completed and signed Vulnerable Child Declaration and Consent Form.

How To Create Mynsfas Account Online 

It is highly recommended that students and NSFAS candidates create MyNSFAS accounts. The following are steps to follow to create an account:

• Navigate to www.nsfas.org.za login.
• Click the myNSFAS tab.
• Click register.
• Tick the box to allow NSFAS to verify your details.
• Then capture the ID number as stated on your ID document.
• Type in your full name and surname as per your ID number.
• Type in your current email address.
• Confirm your email address.
• Type in your cellphone number.
• Create a password.
• Confirm password.
• Upload ID Copy.
• Click register.

How To Log Into Your MyNsfas Account

• Log into your myNSFAS account portal.
• Enter your ID or username and password.
• Click the SIGN IN! button to log into your account.

How To Apply Nsfas Application

If you would like to apply for NSFAS online, follow the steps below:

1.  Visit the NSFAS website: www.nsfas.org.za online
2. Then, you have to click on the “myNSFAS” tab
3. After that, you create your myNSFAS account
4. After creating myNSFAS account, you then have to click on the “Apply” tab
5. Answer the following questions you see on your screen
6. Update all your personal information
7. Upload all the required supporting documents
8. Lastly, Click on “Submit” to send your application for review.

This is one of the most frequent queries students ask after getting approved for NSFAS funding and activating their NSFAS wallet. In this article, we’re showing you how you can check your NSFAS balance online. Kindly read through this article to know your NSFAS balance.

How To Check Your NSFAS Balance

There are two ways to check the balance in your NSFAS wallet to view the Nsfas statement of account. Check using your cell phone or via the internet.

Via cellphone

On your cellphone,

1. Dial USSD code *134*176#
2. Enter your password
3. Click Send
4. Select option 2. Query
5. Finally, view your cash balance and transactions.

Via online

To check your nsfas wallet online (nsfas eWallet),

1. Navigate to celbux.appspot.com.
2. Log into your account by typing in your cellphone number and password.
3. Click the “Login” button.
4. In your account, click “More”.
5. Then, click “Transactions”.
6. Now, you can view your wallet balance.

Students must ensure that they have access to the cellphone number that they provided to NSFAS when applying for funding. This is because that number will be used to deposit their funds.

If your contact details have changed then you may update your cellphone number by registering on myNSFAS with your Facebook or Google account and then updating the number. This number must be accessible to you at all times.

How to make changes to your National Student Financial Aid Scheme account:

• Please visit nsfas.org.za and log in.
• Please enter your username and password (under the ‘already registered’ option) to continue.
• Click the ‘sign in’ button.
• Please go to ‘My Personal Details’ and change the inaccurate cell phone number with the right one (the same can be done with other incorrect information)
