University of the Free State Online Application Opening and Closing Date

UFS Application Fee 2023
Application for study admission at the University of the Free State is free. Prospective applicants applying for admission at UFS will not pay an application fee because the application is free of charge and done online.
UFS Application Requirements
Prospective applicants who want to apply for study admission at the University of the Free State are to meet all the application requirements in order to complete the application process. The UFS supporting documents for application are grouped into two groups, thus South African Citizens Applicants and International Student Applicants.
UFS Application Supporting Documents For South African Citizens
- Copy of your Identification Card (ID) or birth certificate (use your parents if you’re below 18 years old)
- Copy of your Grade 12 exam results
- Grade 11 exam results with school stamp
- National Senior Certificate (NSC) if you have matriculated
- Cell Phone Number
- Email address
UFS Application Supporting Documents For International Student Applicants
- Copy of applicant’s home country password (valid and not expired)
- Certified copies of all previous qualification certificates
- Certified copies of all previous academic transcripts
- South African student medical test
- English proficiency
International Student Applicants will provide SAQA Verification Certificate along with certified copies of their qualifications in order to get admission to study at UFS.
