How to Create An NSFAS Account On The Website?

• Go to www.nsfas.org.za and select “myNsfas account” from the drop-down menu.
• Finally, type in your login and password.
• Select “My personal information” from the drop-down box.
• Make sure your phone number and email address are up to date.
• To continue, click “Update your details.”
• To the new phone number and email address you supplied, a One-Time Pin (OTP) will be delivered.
• Enter the OTP and click the submit button to submit it.
• As soon as possible, your information will be updated.

If you already have an account, you can sign in with your username and password, as well as your Facebook and Google accounts.

Keep in mind that your phone number and email address must be unique to you and cannot be shared.

Nsfas Application For Unisa 2023-2024: NSFAS is the National Student Financial Aid Scheme which is a government loan and bursary fund for students to pay the cost of their tertiary education. NSFAS provides funding to Unisa students. Any Unisa students who want to apply for Nsfas bursaries can do so online at the organization’s website (www.nsfas.org.za). The NSFAS application cycle will run for four months starting on August 3 and ending on November 30. Applications submitted after the deadline won’t be considered. To be eligible for the NSFAS funding, interested applicants must fulfil all application requirements. Follow the steps to apply on time.

Your NSFAS application at Unisa will not be considered if you

• already had NSFAS funding in 2022.
• have already completed an undergraduate degree/diploma.
• are not South African citizens.
• need funding for a short learning certificate or program.
• need funding for a postgraduate qualification, with an exception of the following qualifications:
  • BTech – Architecture / Architectural Technology

Once you have finished filling out the form, go to the MyNSFAS portal and log in. You will be able to upload any outstanding supporting documents. After you have uploaded your documents, click the ‘Submit Documents’ option. When all documents are uploaded and you receive a notification that says ‘Outstanding application documents submitted successfully uploaded,’ the process is complete. If you uploaded the documents but encountered a difficulty, the most common issue is that they are not clear. If you’re having trouble taking pictures with your cellphone, visit an NSFAS or NYDA office for help. If you don’t have access to an NSFAS or NYDA office and have applied to a college or university, ask their fees office for help. Once you have applied, log in to track your NSFAS Status.
